Get Paid For Traffic To Your Site!

Article 5.....Part 1 Blogging Tips - 28th June 2011

Yesterday I was saying that today I would cover some areas which are sometimes not really clearly explained in most blogs or forums.

The first thing I am going to cover is: "How To Make Money When Your Site Traffic Is Low"?

We already know how that bigger volumes of traffic generate more clicks/sales therefore more money, but is that actually the case?

If you had a site which was covered head to toe in ads and received 1000 views a month and I had a site which received 300 views a month but had my ads thoughtfully placed and my blog or site was professional looking enough to make a good first impression then who do believe would have the most sales/clicks?

Its doesn't matter how much traffic you get to your sight, if they don't trust your site, they won't trust your products and if they don't trust your site/blog or your products then they will not be very likely to buy from ads placed on your page, which is what you are ultimately after!

So back to the question of how do you make money from your blog when your traffic volumes are low?

Simple.....

Take time to build and maintain your blog/site, try to place your ads on pages were they are relevant instead of just sprayed all over the homepage.
Also take time to write out detailed explainations of the products which are featured in your article unless they are supplied by Google Adsense then it is done for you.

So it really isn't that hard to make sales even if you have low traffic but remember if you have high traffic volumes and a professional layout you could be making alot more money than you ever thought possible.

The next topic that I am going to base my writings on is "How Commenting On Other Peoples Blog Make Your Blog Better Ranked."

When you comment on someone else blog you are representing your own blog so be careful what you post.

If you have something negative to say its best not saying anything at all but if you have some feedback for the blogger then you should let them know how you feel it could be made better. If your advice is good and you give multiple bloggers good advice then you could quickly build a reputation for a Blogging Guru.

One big tip about commenting on other blogs is DON'T ALWAYS POST LINKS TO YOUR BLOG OR WEBSITE, ITS CALLED SPAMMING!!

This is one of my pet hates and there is no need for it. The way I see it is if you have to use spam then you really do not have the educational qualities needed to impress people by writing interesting comments and you should give up on writing for a living altogether.

Next on the program is another great topic which no-one seems to cover and its probably down to hardly anyone actually knowing how it is done....

"How Google Ranks Your Blog/Site?"

Google was an invention which revolutionized the internet browsing experience. Most of us remember from years ago being told that we could input any sort of information into a little box and in 1 or 2 seconds we could have everything we needed to know about that subject and we were in awe of this.... But after a few years everyone lost interest in Google and it just became another way of finding out a word or meaning without consulting a dictionary but nowadays Google as you know can do many different things from show you your house from a satelite in space and tell you directions from hong kong to paris and can even make you money as we all know and love.

When you search a subject on Google, its mainfram computer trawls through all the html codes and xml codes which are displayed on the millions of domain parking spaces and hosting providers. It picks out the sites which have words that are relevant to your search. So if you search "What Blog Platform is the best?" the most likely websites to be displayed will contain all, if not, certain words that were searched.

Therefore if you want your site to found by search engines such as Google then you must include keywords which will trigger Google to pick up on your site and display it on its listings.

I will cover this subject alot more in-depth over the next few days.

Another great way to promote your sight and make sales through your site is email marketing.

When you build your blog you will have the option to include a newsletter which can be signed up for if you like the blog.

Once someone has signed up you should be notified of this via e-mail.

Once you receive your notification simply write down or store the subscribers details in your inbox.

After you have gathered around 50 names and email addresses simply write out a great promotional page and copy and paste it to all the addresses you have gathered.

After you have emailed all your potential customers, making them aware of your offers, its time to do a follow up and send another email to conduct some market research and see if they found your offers appealing or if they had any feedback on how to make your blog/site/e-shop any better.

Later on I will be writing the second part to this article which covers the last two topical areas of today and they are: "Setting Realistic Goals And Targets" and "The Benefits Of Partnering Between Bloggers".

Remember and follow us if you like the articles.
